A little piece of Munich in the heart of Copenhagen
Oktoberfest began more than 200 years ago with a royal wedding in Munich in 1810. When you enter our blue-and-white festival tent, surrounded by dirndls, lederhosen and long communal tables, we want you to feel as though you have stepped straight into Munich.
Copenhagen’s first Oktoberfest opened in 2009. Seventeen years later, the celebration has grown into Denmark’s biggest and most joyful Oktoberfest — now at Rådhuspladsen.

Sing along, raise your stein and enjoy the party
The tent is filled with long tables and the sound of live music. We serve one-litre steins of German festival beer, brewed especially for Copenhagen Oktoberfest in accordance with the German Reinheitsgebot. It contains 5.0% alcohol.
You probably will not remain seated for long. Singing together and dancing on the benches are all part of the experience. Bavarian clothing adds even more atmosphere, but it is never required.
